This sensor was designed for applications requiring sensor at the edge of the PCB to maximize image area or allow side by side dual energy configurations.
Linear X-ray photodiode sensor array based on complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor (CMOS) technology. It has a pixel pitch of 0.400 millimeters, with an optional setting of 0.8 millimeters. The standard sensor uses a gadolinium oxysulfide (GOS) scintillator doped with terbium, with a density of 145 milligrams per square centimeter, specifically of the high-resolution type. The sensors are mounted at the edge of the board to maximize image area.
It is equipped with electronics designed to withstand high levels of radiation. The detector has an active sensing length of 2.0 inches. It features a standard male right-angle connector with square pins. The tungsten shielding included is rated for use with X-ray systems up to 160Kv.
