The XB208RX linear sensor array is a 512 X 1 photodiode array (PDA) including associated charge amplifier circuitry. The pixel pitch is 125μm corresponding to 200 dots per inch resolution. The photodiode dimensions are 120μm high by 70μm wide. The operation is arranged by internal control logic requiring only a serial input and clock.
Key Features:
- 200 Dots-Per-Inch (DPI)
- Wide Dynamic Range . . . 2000:1 (66 dB)
- Output Referenced to Ground
- Low Image Lag
- 512 × 1 Sensor
- Operation to 5 MHz
- Replacement for TSL208 / TSL208R linear photodiode array
Imaging and Scanning:
Linear sensor arrays have a wide range of applications across various industries. Here’s a breakdown of some key areas.
- Document Scanners and Copiers:
- Linear image sensors are fundamental in these devices, converting images into digital data line by line.
- Barcode Readers:
- They enable the rapid and accurate scanning of barcodes in retail, logistics, and other industries.
- Industrial Inspection:
- Used for quality control in manufacturing, detecting defects in materials like textiles, paper, and metal.
- Line scan cameras are used for visual examinations of film, printed matter and cloth.
